Direct Service Staff Racial Equity Training

September 14, 2020 @ 9:30 am - 1:30 pm

,

Join the National Conference for Community and Justice (NCCJ) for a virtual, interactive workshop on social identity that examines bias, discrimination, oppression and privilege in the United States. We will look at how we got to where we are now and explore how implicit bias impacts all our lives, communities and workplaces. Other discussion items include: how implicit bias impacts everyone, where it is learned and reinforced; knowledge of how to effectively talk about these issues; skills to interrupt all forms of microaggressions and discrimination; and, ways to take action and move towards equality in your workplace and community. Two NCCJ social justice educators will co-facilitate this program. While we wish we could provide you with lunch, all registrants will receive a $15 gift card to Dunkin Donuts. We hope this helps fuel you up for the day! Participants will receive the Zoom link in a separate email at a later date.

Registration is by invitation only.
