Partnership offers child care to Griffin Hospital staff amid coronavirus pandemic

Valley healthcare providers who spend days and nights working at Griffin Hospital and then come home to take care of their children will get a helping hand with childcare during the ongoing coronavirus crisis. While all child care centers have not yet been ordered to shut down amid the pandemic, Team Inc. and Griffin have partnered to ensure employees who need help with their children can remain on the front lines.

Valley lawmaker, TEAM look to recruit volunteers for nonprofits

State Rep. Kara Rochelle, D-Ansonia, is rallying Valley folks to volunteer their time to help their most vulnerable neighbors, such as the elderly, during these uncertain and challenging times. Rochelle has partnered with TEAM Inc. in an effort to recruit volunteers to help local nonprofits, including the Valley food banks, diaper banks and meal delivery services, due to the coronavirus pandemic impacting everyone’s daily lives.
